Happy Anniversary Mammo and Papi!

Their anniversary isn't until later this month, but our entire immediate family got together this past weekend to celebrate Mammo and Papi's 40th wedding anniversary! Obviously this video above is Samantha and Avery dancing together. Whenever Uncle Andrew is in town you can bet that a few new toys have also made their way into our kids hands. Jake got this Elmo music players from Andrew, but the girls quickly took it over for their dancing fun! And no, it isn't your imagination. This really is the loudest toy ever made.

We had a whole weekend of fun and we are still recuperating even though everyone left yesterday morning. We started off the festivities with a fun dinner in on Friday night and then were up and in our Sunday bests on Saturday morning. One of our gifts to Mammo and Papi was a family photo session with Prestige Barkley Photography. We won't see the photos for another week, but we couldn't be more excited about them. Despite the fact that Samantha had a cold and Jake had woken up with a fever that morning, everyone powered through the photo shoot. There is nothing a little ice cream sandwich treat and gummy fruit snacks can't bribe them into doing! Saturday night we got a babysitter and went out on the town for a delicious dinner at Ralph and Rich's. On Sunday, we had a girls outing to see the "Frosty the Snowman" show. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our Mammo and Papi!
