As Christmas quickly approached this week, we did some fun activities to get ready. Samantha helped me to make cookies, and we also went to the Christmas Village to visit Santa Claus. Samantha tolerated being on Santa's lap, but was clearly more interested in the lollipop that he had given her before getting the picture taken. Unfortunately, Jake fell asleep on the way to Christmas Village, so he did not get his picture taken. In true kid form, he woke up the second we walked out the door after seeing Santa. The photographer assured us that Samantha was looking at the camera in her photo. It wasn't until we paid the $10.00 for our photo that we learned this just wasn't true at all.
