Twenty-Ten

Here we are in a new year! We celebrated the New Year by staying in and going to bed at 8:30!

My parents came to visit us on New Year's Day, and we exchanged Christmas gifts with them. I wasn't so good at taking pictures over the weekend, but did manage these few shots at Samantha at BounceU, and this photo of Jake sporting some of the clothing he got for Christmas!

We are looking forward to the new year, hoping for a sale of our house, anticipating vacations (some of us), birthdays, and other milestones! Jake is looking more and more like he is going to crawl. He is scooting sideways and backwards, and every once in a while launching himself forward! As for resolutions, aren't we always hoping to eat better and workout a bit more? Well, this January Challenge has us at the gym pretty regularly (to date I have completed 59% of the challenge; so far Chris is in the lead, having completed 60%!) I started in on one of my other resolutions this weekend by taking Samantha with me to church. I had been doing some searching for churches in the area a few months ago and found one that I really like. Now my resolution is to go more consistently and to bring the kids with me!
