Jake is fighting a cold as well, but seems to be doing better than Samantha in the health department. He seems to have settled back into his night time routine that has him sleeping 10 hours before waking. He is very close to crawling. As soon as you lay him on the floor, he immediately pulls his legs in so that he is sitting on his knees and hands. Yesterday I caught him rocking on his knees, so all he has to do now is launch himself forward!

Yesterday I took Samantha in to the doctor because she's had a persistent cold, and was oozing gunk from her eyes. I am glad we decided to call the doctor, because as it turns out, she had a sinus infection that was causing mucous to collect in the passageways between ears, eyes, and nose. She basically had an ear infection, but not the typical one that is painful. So, now she is on antibiotics, and we are hoping Jake doesn't get this! He does have a cold, but the doctor said this type of thing is more common in children Sammy's age because instead of blowing stuff out their noses, they suck it back in. Jake on the other hand just lets it run right out his nose! Samantha was over 23 pounds yesterday. I can't remember the exact number of ounces.
