We also wanted to thank everyone who helped us by contributing to the American Cancer Society! The Boston's Run to Remember was to honor the fallen heroes of Massachusetts law enforcement, but we were honored to also be part of the ACS running team and raise money for such an important cause. I found myself nearly tearing up a few times as I was running because I would pass someone who had a photo with the caption "dad" pinned to their shirt, or another person would have a photo of a child screened onto their shirt. It was evident that many people were running the race not to just honor fallen heroes in the MA law enforcement, but other heroes and people in their own lives. It was very moving to be running, and being aware my body being strong for this feet and just being alive in general.
