First Dentist Visit

Samantha had her first visit to the dentist this morning. She was very excited to go, and kept asking if they were going to look in her ears (as does the regular doctor). She laid down in the chair all by herself and wore sunglasses while the dentist checked out her teeth! She even let the hygienist brush her teeth with the power toothbrush and floss her teeth as well! They were all amazed that Sammy sat there all by herself and didn't move. They said we were welcome to bring her back every day! We learned that she has 1 of her 2 year molars in and that the other 3 are in the process of coming in. She got the go ahead to use regular fluoride toothpaste, and of course they encouraged us to say goodbye to the pacifier. She is really only using it right before she goes to sleep. Maybe once we move into our own house and get that transition over with them we can tackle saying goodbye to the pacifier!
