Today I was laying on the floor with Samantha and said "I love you; do you know that?" She replied "love too, Mommy". Aaahh. Just melts my heart! I was telling Chris about this exchange earlier this evening and he said that he had one of those moments with her today as well. I think it was after nap time that Samantha told him "miss you Daddy". This was particularly touching for Chris as he is about to embark on a new job venture beginning this next Monday. He signed a 4 month contract last week to begin working in Providence. This will have him traveling 5 days a week. Each time he heads off for a new traveling gig we see that Samantha gets more and more that it means she won't see him for several days and she is displaying a much more emotional reaction than when she was younger.
